Filenames

If you are producing a batch of posters or films for display at various times during the year, it would be appreciated if you could name your files in the following format:

  • STARTDATEANDTIME-ENDDATEANDTIME-NAMEOFEVENT.JPG

The above example is, of course, for a still JPEG file, but the format is the same for .MP4 or .MOV video files.

The date format is YYMMDDHHMM using the 24 hour clock, meaning that content which should start appearing at 1pm on 23rd September 2019 would be 1909231300. For example:

  • 1909231300-1909271900-bigevent.jpg

The above named file would appear on screens between 1pm on 23rd September 2019 and stop appearing after 7pm on 27th September 2019.

Specification

Content for the still poster displays must be provided in the following format:

  • Dimensions: 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • Orientation: Landscape Only
  • Compression: JPEG
  • Quality Setting: High

Each image is shown for 25 seconds, displayed in random order from the image pool.
